Following NZPCA’s national Tetrathlon Expression of Interest, our first national meeting brought together riders, parents, coaches, organisers and Pony Club people from around New Zealand and Australia to look at how Tetrathlon could develop within NZPCA.
The Tetrathlon and Multisport with Horses – Toolkit & Resource Guide brings together the meeting presentation, discussion and ideas shared on the night, along with practical resources for Clubs, Regions and anyone interested in helping develop Tetrathlon.
It covers:
- NZPCA’s proposed Grassroots → Elite Development → Elite pathway
- ideas for simple Have-a-Go / multisport with horses activities
- who does what at NZPCA, Region and Club level
- coaching, shooting, equipment, H&S, rules and scoring
- the proposed two-year rider development pathway
