Committees, Committee Roles, Behaviours, and Expectations

Living with the Constitution — Webinar Series 2: Committees, Committee Roles, Behaviours & Expectations

On Thursday 18 June 2026, NZPCA held the second session in our Living with the Constitution webinar series. While Series 1 covered the structural and constitutional changes, this session moved into the practical side of running a committee well.

What we covered:

  • What makes an effective committee — values, culture, and people-focused leadership
  • Behaviour and conduct expectations for everyone involved in a Club, including online
  • A practical framework for managing committee payments, honorariums, and reimbursements
  • Real questions from the community, including capital expenditure approvals, meeting minutes, and how Region delegates fit under the new constitution

The recording, presentation slides, and a full toolkit combining both with explanatory notes are now available below for Clubs and Regions to use as an ongoing reference — whether you joined the live session or are working through the material for the first time.
