Applications are now open for the 2026 Pony Club International Alliance Tetrathlon Exchange. Hosted by Australia, this exchange provides an outstanding opportunity for NZPCA members to compete, learn, and participate in a multi state cultural programme from 30 June to 20 July 2026. Teams from Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States will take part in a classic tetrathlon competition of riding, running, swimming, and shooting. For 2026, the riding phase will be show jumping.
The exchange is focused on connection, international friendship, and representing New Zealand proudly. It is an intensive sporting experience that brings together high performing athletes, coaches, and support teams, building independence, confidence, and strong team values.
We welcome Expressions of Interest from members who are enthusiastic about training together, contributing to shared fundraising efforts, and supporting one another. The programme relies on personal accountability, teamwork, and a willingness to represent New Zealand with pride. NZPCA intends to select a committed core group who will prepare together and aim to send a full team.
