NZPCA has been invited to send a team of four riders, one Team Coach/Manager to China as part of the ongoing Pony Club International Exchange programme.
The 2026 exchange will be hosted across multiple locations, including Fuzhou and Zhangzhou, and will include riding, cultural exchange, and sightseeing.
The programme will involve participation at facilities such as Dinky Equestrian Club, a modern international equestrian venue with professional arenas and a growing Pony Club programme.
In addition to equestrian activities, the exchange includes a cultural tour through historic regions such as Zhangzhou, including UNESCO World Heritage Tulou sites, mountain landscapes, and ancient cities.
Members compete in Show Jumping from cross poles up to 1 metre.

Eligibility Criteria
Be 14 to 17 years of age at the time of the exchange
Hold or be willing to attain a valid passport before departure•
Be a current NZPCA member
Previous team members and previous applicants are welcome to apply.
Estimated Costs
FOR RIDERS: This is a SELF FUNDED Trip with a cost of approx. $4,500 per rider.
FOR COACH/MANAGER: Estimated Contribution: $1,000 - 1,500 NZD
This includes:

Final confirmed NZD costing will be advised once flights are secured.
Costs do not include:
• Travel to and from your New Zealand international departure airport• Travel insurance• Spending money
