For Interislander there is a 5% increase on all passenger and vehicle rates. This is due to an international MARPOL increase. We have done our best to minimise the effect on the passenger rates and keep this increase minimal as best we can.

Interislander Plus

Interislander Plus rates have increased for the 22/23 season. A review of the Interislander Plus lounges costs has identified that we have priced the service too low to remain a viable service for us.

We have recently undergone a development phase to increase the personal service levels, comfort and offering in the lounges to reflect these rates.

We will keep you updated on these exciting improvements over the next few months.

Body Protector Standards

The NZPCA PC Area Forum asked the Health and Safety Committee to look at recommended safety standards for body protectors.

The following standards are mandatory at Pony Club and ESNZ Eventing for all activities that include cross country jumping from 1 August 2020. BETA 2009(or newer) Level 3 or ASTM F1937.

SportNZ Governance Mark achieved by New Zealand Pony Clubs Association Board

The Board of NZPCA are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Governance Mark in Sport and Recreation by Sport NZ.

This process was started in November 2016 with a Board evaluation.  Work has been ongoing to create good governance systems and documentation to be accountable to our stakeholders and to make best use of Board time, and NZPCA finances.  The Board is a future focused group of volunteers who have a clear strategic plan which informs their discussions at Board level.

The Board feel very encouraged by the work that they have done over the last eighteen months to be only the fourth Sporting Organisation in New Zealand to be awarded this honour.
