Motions for Consideration:

Motion 1 – Adoption of New Constitution

 

That the New Zealand Pony Clubs Association adopts the new Constitution, as circulated to members, in accordance with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, with an effective date of 1 April 2026.

 

Motion 2 – Authority to Apply for Re-registration

 

That the Board is authorised to apply to the Registrar of Incorporated Societies

to re-register the New Zealand Pony Clubs Association under the Incorporated Societies

Societies Act 2022, using the Constitution adopted under Motion 1.

 

Motion 3 – Authority to Make Technical Amendments

 

That the Board is authorised to make any minor or technical changes to the Constitution if required by the Registrar of Incorporated Societies to complete the re-registration process, provided those changes do not materially alter the intent or substance of the Constitution.

Dates: Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 August 2025
Conference Timetable

The 2025 Conference offers two full days of workshops focused on:

  • Club governance
  • Coaching and rider development
  • Health and safety
  • Volunteer engagement and leadership
  • Event delivery and equine welfare

The Conference also features dedicated networking time and a themed awards dinner.

Registration Options:

3-Day Package: $320 (3 days and Awards Dinner)

2-Day Package: $280 (Saturday and Sunday and Awards Dinner)

Awards Dinner Only: $80

Day Attendance: $100 per day

AGM only: Free

  • Each Club in good standing may appoint two delegates
  • Each Area in good standing may appoint one delegate

With 90 Clubs, 136 Branches, and 15 Areas, we strongly encourage full delegate attendance to ensure a representative and robust decision-making process.
