Waingaro Pony Club

Waingaro Pony Club is a small but strong club located on the west coast in Te Akau.
The Annual summer trek always attracts a big muster of mixed ability riders who gather for a three day adventrue riding across local farmland out to the coast and along beaches.
The first day involves a six hour ride stopping for lunch half way and arriving at the end of the day to stay in a local farmers cottage.
Day two and we are off again over farmland with views of the Raglan harbour and out over sand dunes down to the west coast beach in the hot weather before returning to the campsite for a BBQ dinner with friends and family.
On the third day the children having learnt new skill riding up and down hills, over sand and along beaches return home after another successful summer trek.
