Bombay Pony Club is situated on Lowry Rd, Bombay.
The club has been on the grounds since its inception in July 1974, thanks to the generous
support of the current landowners the Wigmore Family and for many years
previously the Landon family.
The Club holds rallies each Saturday from approx Sept-Dec and Jan-May. We
are a small and very friendly club with approximately 17 riding members
both male and female. We have lead rein riders through to B certificate
holders, in 2004 two of our riders were selected to ride at the NZPCA
Horse Trial Champs, held that year in Cromwell.
We hold 2 open ribbon days during the year in November and March. One of
the highlights of the year is the week long pony club camp in January each
year at Waeranga.
The Club has approximately 50 acres of land available for use and is
looking forward to upgrading the cross country course over the next year.
