We are a Club of approximately 40 horses, with only a few of those being adult riders.
Our Pony Club has been around for many years, and quite a few of our parents and instructors have been past St Heliers Bay Pony Club members which is an added bonus.
Being an inner-city Club means that our paddocks and arenas are often only minutes away from the riders' homes.
This past season has seen Karla Tarr at Dressage Champs at Taupo and Katie Creagh will be at Timberlands in April.
Our riders compete at different levels at all disciplines from Dressage to Eventing.
A new xc course is being built for the new season for intro through training by Brian McDonald and is an exciting venture, and we have just completed a beautiful stable project which is the envy of other Pony Clubs.
We are looking forward to making even fuller use of this in the winter months when shelter is even more important.
Our Club is competitive and we look forward to staging other events next season besides the very successful showjumping day we had in February. [Updated 26/3/08]
