| Situated within 2 minutes of Mangere Bridge and right next door to Ambury Farm, Mangere Pony Club is readily accessible from the city yet provides all the benefits of the country. In the volcanic terraces of Mangere Mountain, our grounds are well draining, providing almost year-round riding and allowing our Pony Club season to start earlier than most. We offer 2 large sand arenas, show jumping facilities and a fantastic cross country course, catering for all levels and, of course, spectacular riding across Ambury Farm Park. Riders are welcome to hire our grounds at the fee of $15 per mount per day. Please contact our Grazing Manager, Jo Hafoka 09 - 580 0123. Our Events include Open Ribbon Days, One Day Events and Show Jumping/ Cross Country Days as well as a variety of Closed Events to cater for our developing riders. As a Club we are also involved in District Events and Games Days. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive club and welcome any enquiries. Our registration for 2003/2004 season is on Saturday 20 September 2003. |
